The Gift Only You Can Give

The gift you can give children only you can give is the banning of manufacturing and promoting "The Rod" which is specifically designed to beat vulnerable and defenseless children.

The Federal Government agency Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has a responsibility  to recall products which cause injury.  However, the only way the CPSC can recall a product is if a large number of people report injuries. 

"The Rod" (a nylon whip specifically designed to beat children) is a product, which if the Consumer Product Safety Commission had enough complaints would be obligated by their mandate to recall. 

When I filed my complaint the admin worker said the committe would make a decision about whether or not to pursue the case within 30 days. I've made several calls to CPSC to find out what the status of my complaint is, and whether they will recall this horrid device.  They are now saying it will take more time to make the decision.  They also said the more complaints that are filed against Slide's Manufacturing (whip makers & sellers) the better chance we have that they will make pursuing a recall of "The Rod" a priority!

So, you can give a gift to thousands of children by filing a complaint with the CPSC.  SO PLEASE file a complaint if you haven't already!  It's easy – you can do it online at:  https://www.cpsc.gov/incident.html  "The Rod" is definitely an unsafe product!  These are the questions they'll ask in the form:

1) They will ask questions about the "victim" - Victims are:  “Children of the people who buy "The Rod"”

2) Describe incident or hazard - you can state:   "This 22" nylon whip definitely causes emotional and physical pain,  broken capillaries,  bruising & lacerations when used for its intended purpose."  (CPSC only deals with physical injuries).

3)  Manufacturer:  It is manufactured by Slide's Manufacturing, PO Box 506, Checotah, OK  74426 owners of Slide's are Mr. & Mrs. Clyde Bullock

4) Product brand name - "The Rod"

5) Place where manufactured - Eufaula, OK

6) Product model -  It is simply Called "The Rod"

If enough people complain, I trust CPSC will recall this instrument of torture for children.

Thank you everyone for helping and for your support!  It's appalling the Bullocks are making a living from blatantly promoting child abuse.  Getting their hazardous "product" off the market would be the most precious gift for children this holiday season and for the rest of their lives.  Remember every complaint to the CPSC counts…if everyone who subscribes to this newsletter, 120 more complaints will be registered.   May this be your most joyous holiday season.
